Specialized Training "Corruption Risk Management in the Transport Sector in Tunisia"

Organized by: UNDP-ACIAC in cooperation with the General Directorate of Governance and Corruption Prevention in the Government of Tunisia, the Ministry of Transport and the Governance Units in this sector

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in cooperation with the General Directorate of Governance and Corruption Prevention, Office of the Presidency of the Government of Tunisia, held a 3-day specialized training on Managing Corruption Risks in the Transport Sector in Hammamet, Tunisia on 1- 3 June 2022. The training benefitted the members of the risk management task force that was set up by the Minister of Transport, supported by representatives from the Presidency of the Government and other oversight bodies. It focused on the application of UNDP’s sectoral corruption risk management methodology, based the specificities of the transport sector in Tunisia. In addition, the training drew on relevant experiences in applying the methodology on ground, especially in the framework of the previous cooperation between Tunisia and the UNDP in managing corruption risks in the health sector.
