Towards a Comprehensive Mechanism for Monitoring and Evaluating the Anti-Corruption Strategy

Organized by: The Ministry of Public Service and Modernization of the Administration in the Kingdom of Morocco in partnership with UNDP-ACIAC and in collaboration with ACINET

The Ministry of Public Service and Modernization of the Administration in the Kingdom of Morocco organized a training in Rabat in partnership with UNDP’s Regional Project on "Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab Countries" and in collaboration with the Arab Anti-Corruption and Integrity Network entitled “Towards a Comprehensive Mechanism for Monitoring and Evaluating the Anti-Corruption Strategy” on 12-14 November 2014. The training included around 30 officials and experts representing concerned ministries and public administrations in addition to representatives of non-governmental organizations and the private sector. The aim was to train participants with a view to contributing to the design and activation of a comprehensive mechanism for monitoring and evaluating the Moroccan strategy based on the national context and in line with relevant international standards and comparative experiences, through raising their awareness of the importance of monitoring and evaluation for the success of anti-corruption efforts, and to deepen their knowledge of related concepts and methodologies including anti-corruption indicators, while strengthening their skills in designing and implementing an effective framework for monitoring and evaluation.
