Regional Workshop on Building Capacities and Enhancing Collective Action to Strengthen Private Sector Integrity in the Arab Countries

Under the high patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, UNDP's regional project on "Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab Countries" (UNDP-ACIAC) and the Kuwait Transparency Society organized a Regional Workshop on "Building Capacities and Enhancing Collective Action to Strengthen Private Sector Integrity in the Arab Countries" on 18-19 December in Kuwait City in cooperation with the MENA-OECD investment Programme and the Siemens Integrity Initiative. Participants developed specific recommendations that helped to empower companies, governments, and civil society to further strengthen private sector integrity with a view to leveling the playing field for business and furthering stability and prosperity across the region.
