16th International Anti-Corruption Conference Postponed

Transparency International (TI) announced that the 16th International Anti-Corruption Conference which was planned to take place in Tunis from 21 to 24 October 2014 has been postponed, by request of the Tunisian Government and due to the proximity of the parliamentary elections which were recently decided to be held on the 26th of that month and which will increase the security burden in the country. TI also mentioned in its statement that it will announce the Conference’s new date in a few weeks, noting that it is the first time that this important event takes place in the region.
