Beirut, Lebanon, 11/14/2022 - 11/14/2022

Organized by: UNDP Regional Hub for the Arab States in partnership with Global Affairs Canada

UNDP’s Regional Hub for the Arab States organized the third consultation meeting for Lebanese women working in the field of anti-corruption and integrity in Lebanon in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada. The meeting was held in Beirut, Lebanon on 14 November 2022, and was attended by leading women in government, parliament, civil society, and academia, as well as experts and senior public officials responsible for developing and implementing the national anti-corruption strategy. The regional meeting enabled participants to engage in exploring the gender perspectives in the existing national anti-corruption strategy based on the Issues Paper prepared by UNDP. They have also built upon the previous regional dialogue to take positive steps towards integrating gender in the strategy and link it to legislative, financial, administrative, and judicial reforms.
