Panel Discussion on the Draft Whistleblower Protection Law

In the framework of the celebration of International Anti-Corruption Day by the Government of the Republic of Tunisia and the National Anti-Corruption Commission; held with the support of the United Nations Development Programme in Tunisia on 9 December 2014, UNDP’s Regional Project on anti-corruption and integrity in the Arab Countries (UNDP-ACIAC) organized a panel discussion in cooperation with the Ministry of State in charge of Governance and Public Function which gathered officials and experts from the public and private sectors as well as civil society representatives. Participants discussed the latest efforts relating to the development of a draft law on the protection of corruption whistleblowers in the public sector in the Republic of Tunisia, as well as the different possible means for the adoption of an effective system in this regard.
