New Anti-Corruption Agency: Responding to the Needs of a Strong Competitive Economy?

Organized by: The General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco in cooperation with UNDP’s Regional Project on Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab countries

The General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco organized a roundtable in collaboration with UNDP’s Regional Project on Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab countries in Casablanca on 11 September 2014 under the title: "New Anti-Corruption Agency: Responding to the Needs of a Strong Competitive Economy?". The meeting discussed the strengths and weaknesses of the National Authority for Integrity and Combating and Preventing Corruption’s draft law in the light of good practices and lessons learned from comparative experience in the region and the world. Approximately 65 representatives from the Government, civil society and the business sector as well as international experts participated.
