Regional Workshop for the Validation of a Comparative Analysis of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention

In cooperation between UNDP, UNODC and the League of Arab States (LoAS), and with support from the Arab Anti-corruption and Integrity Network (ACINET), a workshop was organized in Cairo on 16 June 2014 entitled “Regional Workshop for the Validation of a Comparative Analysis of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention". The workshop aimed at discussing and validating a comparative analysis of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention, developed in cooperation between UNDP-ACIAC and UNODC. 20 public officials from Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco and Saudi Arabia as well as experts from UNODC and UNDP participated in the workshop.
