The Tunisian Anti-Corruption Authority hosted in Tunis, on 25 October 2013 a regional meeting to progress the work on developing the course on "Anti-Corruption in Business Transactions" for Law Faculties in the Arab Region with the support of UNDP’s Regional Project on Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab Countries. Participants included representatives of partner law faculties as well as regional and international experts and officials from the Authority. The meeting allowed for the adoption the course components including the first part on the corruption phenomenon, the second part on the general framework for combating corruption, the third part on specific anti-corruption mechanisms and the fourth part on Tunisia’s efforts in combating corruption. The next steps include the development of parts that are similar to the existing fourth part for each of Palestine, Morocco, Qatar and to complete the work on the part related to anti-corruption in business transactions.
