National Seminar on Strengthening Integrity and the Fight against Corruption in Djibouti

Organized by: Djibouti State General Inspectorate with the support of UNDP-ACIAC

Under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic of Djibouti and with the support of UNDP-ACIAC, the State General Inspectorate organized a national seminar that focused on strengthening integrity and the fight against corruption in Djibouti on 9 December 2012. The seminar discussed the challenges and opportunities related to integrity and transparency in the country within the framework of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and provided a multi-sectoral platform to discuss the development of a national strategy for the fight against corruption. Representatives from the public and private sectors as well as civil society international experts participated.
