Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, 6/22/2012 - 6/23/2012

Organized by: UNDP-ACIAC in partnership with the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC)

In partnership with the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), our project organized a training on the mechanism of review of the implementation of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption for the governmental experts of the National Palestinian Authority on 22-23 June 2012 in Amman (Jordan). Participants included experts representing agencies and ministries involved in the fight against corruption, in addition to trainers from UNDP and UNODC and the Jordanian Anti-Corruption Commission. The training informed participants about the components and tools of the UNCAC review mechanism and helped build their capacities to engage in the latter more efficiently focusing specifically on how to execute the self assessment. At the end of the training, participants developed and endorsed an action plan to prepare their self assessment report.
