Regional High-Level Seminar in Preparation for the Conference of State Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption

Organized by: UNDP-POGAR, UNDP Lebanon, Lebanese Ministry of Justice

This seminar aims at preparing the Arab States to participate effectively and efficiently in the third Conference of State Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption which shall be held in Doha, Qatar on 9-13 November 2009.
The seminar stressed the importance of UNCAC and presented the suggested implementation review mechanism. It shed the light on international experiences on implementation review mechanism. Finally, the seminar highlighted the work of the Arab state parties to UN Convention against Corruption.
